Family Day at Preschool

Last Friday was Family Day at Jackson's preschool. He was so excited to bring Grandma Chris, Carter, Isabel and mommy with him to show his friends at school. Sadly Grandma Ann was not able to make it due to a nasty flu bug, but she was with us in our hearts.

Jackson had fun with the shaving cream and food coloring that they used to "paint" thier leaves for thier family trees. However, as soon as the project got really messy he left the rest to Grandma Chris because he didn't want to get his hands dirty (truely 1st child personality).

Grandma Chris read a story to the boys during free time and Carter also decided to do some painting (a true artist)

The boys loved the cookie making part of the day. They each got to add some of the ingredients and do some stirring(watch out Martha Stewert here come the Kephart boys!).

We also did circle time and story time as a class. Sparky the dog (the class puppet) came out and Jackson proudly stood up and introduced his family to Sparky (it was soooo sweet). Carter spent most of circle time with his hand on Miss Barb's knee so enchanted by the whole experience of preschool.

What a fun day we had!
