I can't believe how much Carter has changed in just 3 years. It is hard to imagine that sick little baby in the hospital so unsure of what the outcome would be for him.
Now just 3 years later the only reminder of those awful 11 days is the faint scar on his chubby little belly. Carter is our sweet funny boy with so much energy. He is a daredevil and there is nothing he won't jump off of or over. He is also very smart. He has been learning to recognize letters and is doing a GREAT job with it. I am thinking he may know all his letters by the time he starts nursery school in the fall. We are still working on potty training (he is ready he is just stubborn). I have a feeling when he decides he is ready it will go quickly. His laugh is contagious, his eyes sparkle with mischief , and his smile lights up a room. We love you Carter! Happy 3rd Birthday!
