Well Jackson had his 5 year check-up and it went well. He loved the eye exam (he got a pirate patch to use as an eye cover so who wouldn't love that!) He was able to identify all his letters and did a great job with the test they gave him (he had to copy shapes, circle which was bigger, write his name and draw a picture of person). He did a great job with the finger poke for his hemoglobin check (no tears -at least not until the nurse left then we had a couple). Unfortunately the shots at the end of the exam did not go as well and his anxiety got the best of him and it required an additional nurse to help (so tramatic for him and for me). Thank goodness we don't need anymore shots until he is 11 (I think maybe both of us will be recovered from the trauma by then). All in all the exam went well.

Wow! Gavin had his 5 year physical and he was only 39# and 44" tall!!! Yikes! Why the cholesterol check? just curious...
