National Night Out 2008

Yes it is that time of year again for our annual National Night Out. This year brought new neighbors and lots of new kids (there were babies EVERYWHERE!) We had a great time as always and there was lots of good food and good converstaions to be had by all. The babies of the neighborhood (there were I believe 6 that were under a year old and a few more that were just over 1 yr old) had fun on the blanket that we spread out and just crawled or walked around some of the toys we had out. The toddlers - schoolagers had fun in the Jumpy and in the castel that Jeff built in the sandbox in the backyard. We also got a special treat and some of the older kids put on a dance routine while some of the others did standup comedy.

As always the firetrucks came (unfortunately they were running very late so a few of the families had already gone home) but the kids that were still there had fun trying on the fire gear and pretending to drive the truck.

All in all it was a sucessful NNO and fun was had by all.
