It has been a long time since the last post and I have no excuse except that life is busy. I will just do a quick post for each kid to at least get somewhat caught up.
Jackson continues to amaze us. He has been doing so well in school and really enjoys it. He has found a passion for wrestling and just recently took 4th place in the State Wrestling tournament in Rochester, MN. Jackson is our little Math Wizard and continues to amaze not only us but his teacher with all that he knows. He is kind and helpful and enjoys teaching his brother and sister all he knows. He has done a great job learning to read this year and we enjoy sitting down with him and listening to him read to us all. He continues to have a very tender heart and loving spirit. He will be starting Baseball this month and this summer he will be in swimming lessons and soccer as well with his best friend Jacob.
Carter is our little artist! He can sit for hours and draw pictures and write words (yes we recently discovered he can spell and he isn't even in kindergarten yet!) He is having a great time in school and has met many friends. He had his first playdate with his favorite school friend Carter C. and we are hoping that Carter and Carter can be on the same soccer team this summer. Carter has been working on his bike riding (he is still a little cautious but that is ok). He is looking forward to gymnastics and soccer this summer as well as swimming lessons. He is almost always smiling with his "light up a room" smile and a laugh that can make us smile even when he is in trouble.
Isabel has done so much growing and changing over these last few months. Her vocabulary is huge and her understanding is even bigger. She truely has a much older soul than a typical 2 1/2 yr old. She has been potty trained since just after she turned 2 and made it VERY easy on us! She loves everything girly and enjoys playing dress up and playing with her babies, but she also is not afraid to get in there and wrestle with her brothers. She got her first set of stitches this winter (actually 2 times in one day!) She has some very good friends that she loves playing with and asks to play with them every day. We hope to start her in dance in the fall and she will also be starting preschool this fall as well. She keeps us on our toes with her adventurous spirit and keeps us smiling with her sweet girly giggle!
